Cancellation Policy

Reservation fees, credits, cancellations, no-shows, and host issues.

This policy explains the default RoomlyHub cancellation rules. Specific checkout terms, host rules, payment processor rules, or mandatory law may also apply.

RoomlyHub is a project and operating brand of Dragon Byte Design Inc, a New York business corporation.

Reservation deposit

Customers pay a reservation fee shown at checkout. In the current RoomlyHub workflow, the fee is 20% of the host-listed room price, and the remaining balance is paid at the store on arrival unless checkout says otherwise.

Cancel more than 3 hours before start

The reservation fee is returned as non-withdrawable RoomlyHub credit for a future booking with the same host/store group. Cash refund is not automatic unless required by law or approved by RoomlyHub support.

Cancel inside the 3-hour window

If the guest cancels 3 hours or less before the start time, the room is released but the reservation fee is normally forfeited because the room was held close to the appointment time. No refund and no RoomlyHub credit are issued by default.

Changing a paid booking

Guests may change an unpaid booking before paying the reservation fee. After payment, booking time cannot be changed online. Cancel and book a new time, or contact support for host-caused issues, system errors, duplicate payments, or address/access problems.

Support review exceptions

RoomlyHub may manually issue RoomlyHub credit or a Stripe refund for approved exceptions such as host cancellation, room unavailable, duplicate payment, system error, or address/access problems.

No-show

The reservation fee is normally forfeited. A no-show record may affect future trust and safety review.

Host cancellation or room unavailable

If the host cancels, the room is unavailable, access is impossible, or the listed room materially differs from the confirmed booking, RoomlyHub may issue a full Stripe refund or RoomlyHub credit depending on the payment status and facts.

Past or invalid booking times

A booking time that is already in the past or invalid should not be offered. If a system error allows an invalid time, contact support so RoomlyHub can correct the booking record.

Legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights, payment card rights, or other rights that applicable law gives you.
