Privacy Policy
How RoomlyHub handles personal, booking, listing, and support information.
Effective date: May 15, 2026
This policy explains how RoomlyHub collects and uses information when you browse, register, list a space, book a space, contact support, or use our marketplace tools.
Dragon Byte Design Inc operates RoomlyHub and is responsible for the handling of RoomlyHub account, booking, support, and SMS notification data.
Information we collect
Account information such as name, email address, password credentials, role, phone number, profile details, verification status, and login history.
Booking information such as listing, room type, date, time, duration, price, deposit status, cancellation status, no-show status, reviews, support records, and dispute notes.
Host and listing information such as business details, room descriptions, photos, amenities, availability, rules, pricing, location area, exact address, store contacts, manager contacts, and payout or operational records.
Technical information such as IP address, browser, device, cookies or similar identifiers, session activity, security logs, and approximate location used for search and fraud prevention.
Communications such as support requests, safety reports, transactional emails, SMS notices, verification messages, and administrative messages.
How we use information
Create accounts, authenticate users, recover passwords, verify emails, operate dashboards, and provide customer support.
Display listings, process bookings, collect or record deposits, release arrival details after payment, notify hosts and guests, and manage cancellations, refunds, credits, no-shows, and disputes.
Review listings and account activity for fraud, safety, policy enforcement, illegal activity prevention, and marketplace compliance.
Improve RoomlyHub search, mobile experience, safety controls, operational tools, email delivery, and support workflows.
Comply with legal obligations, respond to valid legal requests, protect rights and safety, and preserve records where required.
How information is shared
Guests and hosts receive the information needed to complete a booking, such as booking time, room rules, arrival details, and privacy-controlled contact choices.
Service providers may process data for hosting, email, SMS, analytics, payment, security, database, cloud, support, and similar business operations.
Admins and support staff may access information needed to operate the marketplace, investigate reports, prevent fraud, and enforce policies.
Information may be disclosed to law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or when necessary to protect safety, rights, property, or platform integrity.
RoomlyHub does not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of selling an email list for money.
RoomlyHub does not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in consent, phone numbers, or SMS messaging data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS consent is collected separately from required service terms. Choosing not to receive optional RoomlyHub SMS messages does not prevent you from creating an account, using email sign-in, listing a room, receiving bookings, or completing a booking.
Address and contact privacy
Public listings may show neighborhood or area-level location, but exact room address is normally hidden until payment or booking confirmation rules are satisfied. Host phone and email are not shown to guests by default.
Guests may not redistribute exact addresses, access instructions, lock codes, or host contact information outside the booked party.
Hosts must not misuse guest contact details for unrelated marketing, harassment, or off-platform activity.
Your choices and rights
You may update many account details from your dashboard. You may also contact support to request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction where applicable law gives you those rights.
Some information must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax, payment, dispute, and operational reasons.
You can unsubscribe from non-transactional marketing messages where offered. Booking, security, account, legal, and safety messages may still be sent.
Security and retention
RoomlyHub uses administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect account, booking, payment-status, and support information.
No internet service can guarantee perfect security. Users should keep passwords confidential and report unauthorized account activity promptly.
We retain information as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, booking history, support, safety, compliance, legal, and business record needs.
